Skills enhancement for sustainable fashion
THEKEY.TO ACADEMY took place in Berlin between 5th and 10 th of july 2010.
The Academy took place during the Berlin Fashion Week. Launching this Summer, THEKEY.TO ACADEMY was a six day program of workshops and talks given by high profile speakers providing you with in-depth knowledge and inspiration to keep up with and contribute to the momentum of green and sustainable fashion. Other topics were purchasing, production, certifications, CSR, branding, marketing, design, trade and social business. The academy espacially was adressed to freelance designers, productmanagers, buying and sourcing teams, Supply Chain- andCSR Managers, Marketing- and communicationsteams und new members in the branch of ethical fashion.
Annexed to the fair Thekey.to, the Academy offered a grate chance for new and old networkings.
Speakers, amongst others, were Peter Ingwersen (Noir, Denmark), Ulrike Möslinger (Galeries Lafayette, Germany), Dr. Otto von Bush (Universität Göteborg University, Sweden), Rolf Heimann (Hessnatur, Germany), Simone Seisl (MADE-BY, Germany), Jens Soth (Helvetas, Switzerland), Jana Kern (Kernkommunikation, Germany), Tony Tonnaer (former CEO of Kuyichi, Netherlands), Claudia Helming (Dawanda, Germany), Satish Chukkapalli (Zameen, India), Bernd Hausmann (Glore, Germany), Noel Klein-Reesink (Karmakonsum, Germany), Sandra Dusch Silva (Christliche Initiative Romero, Germany), Kirsten Brodde (Autorin, Germany).
